(Founder & CEO), a web/wireless focused on helping consumers find "dazzling customer experiences" via innovative location-based services, local/city advertising and deep user generated content on their mobile phones (kinda Travel 2.0). |

Robert Forget, Chair - Director of Wireless Product Management, Vecima Networks Robert Forget started in the business development group at Vecima Networks Inc. in 2004 and is currently the Director of Wireless Sales for the organization. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Physics degree in 2002 from the University of Saskatchewan, and an MBA from Lansbridge University in 2006. Robert ran his own consultancy firm from 2000-2004 specializing in electronics design and systems implementation. Mr. Forget has been active on the boards of many organizations from such diverse areas as housing developments, politics, and the church. |

Bruce Bernard - Product Development Manager, Carmanah Bruce Bernard has developed wireless consumer products for 20 years. He was CTO of Ascalade Communications Inc. as well as VP of Business Development and Engineering for VTECH. At Carmanah, Mr. Bernard is leading a team developing solar lighting solutions for a number of commercial and industrial platforms. Many of these applications incorporate wireless solutions.Carmanah has been putting solar to work since 1996. The first company of its kind in the world, Carmanah pioneered the self-contained solar light and continues to develop best-in-class solar LED lighting and solar power systems for industrial applications worldwide. |

Rob McGarry - Director of Product R&D - Media and Games, Nokia Rob McGarry has 22 years of Engineering and telecommunications experience. His expertise is adapting & responding to change, wireless technologies and software product development, leading & coaching, managing projects in a complex multi-project/multi-site environment.In 1997 he started as the Director of Engineering for VOIP start-up Vienna Systems (Vancouver) a company which pioneered the commercialization of consumer VOIP services. The innovative products created by Vienna led to it being acquired by Nokia in late 1998. Within Nokia Rob was the Product Program Manager who managed the successful implementation from concept to volume delivery of the Nokia N91 and Nokia N91 8GB devices to over 72 countries generating over 300 million Euros in revenue. Following that Rob was the Director of Technology Management and Product Concepting at Nokia where he focused on ensuring the competitiveness and feasibility in product concepts and bringing them to the implementation phase. Just recently Rob was the Director of Games RD which has now, as Media and Games R&D, transitioned from a Games only focus to a larger focus concentrating on Media (OVI store), Content, Applications, Video and Games. Rob is a Board member of Nokia IP Telephony Corporation. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from the McGill University. |

| Jules Meunier - Former CTO, Nortel Jules Meunier has 25 years of networking and telecommunications experience across all sectors of the service provider market. His expertise includes optical systems, circuit switching, data networking, mobile wireless and network management. In 2002 he was the Chief Executive Officer of ProQuent systems a provider of wireless data services. Mr. Meunier has over 21 years of experience at Nortel and Bell-Northern Research: In 2001 he served as President of Wireless Networks a $5B business unit, managing 8,000 staff and a $1B R&D budget. In 2000 Mr. Meunier was the Nortel Networks global Chief Technology Officer. From 1998 to 1999 he served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the $1B revenue Carrier Data Networking business, based in Boston. From 1995-1998 he was a Vice President of the Wireless business based in Paris, where he ran global sales and marketing and earlier Vice President of Wireless Engineering. Meunier is a Board member of Zarlink a TSX listed semiconductor company. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from the University of Calgary. |

Jim Mutter - Former President, Premier's Technology Council Jim is past President of the Premier’s Technology Council of British Columbia and remains an active member. He was most recently a Senior Client Partner in the Vancouver office of Korn/Ferry International. He has been the CEO of hyperWALLET, a high growth technology company focused on a software platform for the financial services sector where he oversaw the growth of the business from a small technology provider to securing a number of key national clients.He is a co-founder and former vice-president, business development of Apparent Networks, a Vancouver-based network intelligence software company. As a key member of Apparent's senior management team, he helped lead the company from inception through product commercialization to completion of one of the largest initial rounds of venture financing for a Canadian technology company in 2002. He was previously a partner at Fasken Martineau, where he helped establish one of the largest technology practice groups in Vancouver. Jim has experience with both private and public companies and is active on a number of boards as well as being an active member of a number of community and social organizations. Colin Quon - Founder, ANTS Distributed Media Colin is a serial technology entrepreneur and is currently the Founder & CEO of ANTS Distributed Media. Prior to ANTS, Colin founded EQO Communications, a mobile social phonebook application with almost 3 million users. At EQO, Colin was CTO and general manager of China operations.Before EQO, Colin led product management and development at TELOS Technology (now a division of UTStarcom), and developed the first mobile softswitch. Parminder Singh - Former Director, Microsoft Canada Development Centre Parminder (Par) Singh has more than 25 years of professional experience in building, operating, and managing international businesses for private companies, government clients, and multi-national corporations around the world.Parminder was most recently the Managing Director of the Microsoft Canada Development Centre (MCDC), located in Richmond, British Columbia. In his role since September, 2007, Par was responsible for the overall management of the MCDC, as well as establishing the strategic direction for the Centre. The Centre is expected to be one of the premier development locations as part of Microsoft’s Global Distributed Development Strategy. Parminder spent five years with Microsoft serving as the Director of Business Development for Xbox where he provided strategic direction, developed go-to-market strategies, and led negotiations with major manufacturing and content partners. He also served as the General Manager for Xbox in Japan. Just prior to joining Microsoft, Parminder was the founder and CEO of Evenio Media, where he directed the software design and development of an award winning multimedia publishing platform. | Derek Spratt - President & CEO, Mobidia Derek is currently the President & CEO of Mobidia Inc., a wireless network optimization vendor. Derek has been an active CEO, founder, investor, advisor and board member with local BC technology firms for the past 25 years. He has also been a contributor to the technology community via his board level involvement in Acetech - the Academy of technology CEOs, and the Vancouver Enterprise Forum. Derek has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Queens and started out in his career in 1982, first as a product designer, and later in executive management and leadership positions, most recently as Founder and CEO of Intrinsyc Software International Inc (1996-2006). Olivier Vincent - CEO, Canpages Mr. Vincent has spent more than 20 years as a senior executive in the technology and local search directory industry in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. He was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Canpages in 2006. Olivier was the founder of Canpages in December 2005 with HM Capital Partners of Dallas, Texas. He was the architect behind Canpages' current market expansion strategy and in transforming the company into a strategic, multi-platform organization that specializes in local search and directories for print, online and mobile.From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Vincent held several Senior Executive positions at Verizon Information Services including Vice President, International. He was responsible for launching several wireless and internet services within the U.S. and managed businesses in all continents. From 1999 to 2001, he was President of Vancouver-based Dominion Information Services/SuperPages that formerly published the TELUS Pages, SuperPages and superpages.ca.
