Call for Presenting Companies at SPIF in Vancouver -
January 27, 2006

Are you looking for smart money? WINBC and LEBC are pleased to announce that the Service Provider Investment Forum (SPIF) is coming to Vancouver on January 27, 2006. SPIF is the monthly meeting of representatives from the wireless and wireline carriers' venture capital and R&D divisions. SPIF investors are hot on anything wireless, telecom, and Internet - from components, devices and enabling technologies to enterprise solutions and content. And in January, their monthly meeting is in Vancouver, BC!

If your company is ready to present to SPIF in Vancouver, complete the application form now. Submission deadline for company applications is November 28, 2005 - 12:00pm (PST).

The selection process will be multi-stage. All applications will first be reviewed by a local selection committee. Companies selected for further consideration will be forwarded to the SPIF committee for final selection.

Applicant companies may be required to do a review presentation as part of the local selection process and/or as part of boot camp preparation for the main presentation to SPIF in January. WINBC member companies will be given first priority, and then companies in BC next for the SPIF in Vancouver presentation spots. There will be a fee (TBD) for companies that are not WINBC member companies.


SPIF in Vancouver is a joint event between WINBC and Leading Edge BC (www.leadingedgebc.ca) in partnership with The Kerton Group in Silicon Valley (www.kerton.com).

The Kerton Group runs the monthly SPIF meetings. SPIF members represent venture capital or R&D groups of telecommunications service providers seeking investments, partnership opportunities, and/or new products and technologies. SPIF is based in Silicon Valley. Members include:
