This month's panelists spotlight:
Nick Fong � Industrial Technology Advisor. Nicholas Fong is responsible for the wireless and security sectors at NRC�s Industrial Research Assistance Program�s Pacific Region (IRAP-Pacific). IRAP-Pacific assists BC and Yukon technology firms to enhance their competitive advantage through science and technology innovation and capability building. Many of the technology firms that Nicholas assisted had grown on to become multinationals. Nicholas Fong is a graduate of UBC with Degrees in Physiology and Electrical Engineering. He worked as a Biomedical Engineer and taught courses at BCIT and SFU. He has been involved with wireless and information security for over 12 years. His interest is to assist companies applying appropriate security technologies to secure their information and communication systems with a balanced approach to privacy and security. www.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca
Clay Howey � Group for Advanced Information Technology (GAIT) Laboratory at the British Columbian Institute of Technology will outline resources available for wireless developers at their academic institution. He will explain the consulting and development services available through the lab. Stephen Boren � Mr. Boren is the CTO and a founding member of Whitenoise Laboratories Inc. and has over 20 years of programming and technology experience.
