This month's panelists spotlight:
Peter Lesyk – Peter is Vice President of Wireless Solutions at GPS Industries where he leads the program management and business development of the company’s Wi-Fi and mobile solutions. He has more than 16 years of international experience in the wireless and high tech industry that includes R&D, marketing, business development and sales with blue chip and emerging wireless companies. Peter began his career at CAE Electronics as a test engineer. He then moved to Ericsson for 10 years where he took on international assignments in R&D and marketing in Europe and the United States, respectively. Most recently, Peter was at VoiceAge Networks, a leading wireless multimedia transcoding company where he led the sales activities for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He subsequently went on to lead the global business development for the company. Peter holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Concordia University in Montreal.
Stewart Nimmo – Stewart Nimmo has a Bachelor of Science from University of Waterloo. For the past 21 years much of his career has been focused on the design and implementation of enterprise Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for organizations such as: ( Placer Dome, WeastCoast Energy, BC Gas, GVRD and Department of Fisheries & Oceans). More recently he has started Virtually Here Technologies, a company that offers Personal Location Based Services, with a focus on recreational and entertainment applications.
