The Okanagan Research & Innovation Centre (ORIC) is a non-profit organization located at the National Research Council - Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory (NRC-DRAO) near Penticton.
ORIC runs the only full-fledged business incubator in the Okanagan. Client companies can make use of the extensive infrastructure of measurement equipment, software and rapid prototyping tools. ORIC has the support structure to significantly increase the survival rate of start-up companies. An applied research activity in wireless communication will soon be initiated.
