SPIF Panel Presentation and Dinner, January 25, 2007
With Keynote Speaker Jason Cohenour, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Wireless
WINBC and The Kerton Group are pleased to announce the return of The Service Provider Investment Forum (SPIF) to Vancouver. SPIF is a monthly meeting of representatives from both wireless and wireline carriers, venture capital and R&D divisions from around the world. SPIF investors are focused on strategic investment and partnerships and have the pulse on wireless, telecom, and Internet - from components, devices and enabling technologies to enterprise solutions and content.
2006 was the first time this influential group hosted a SPIF meeting outside the San Francisco Bay area and with the success of last year's event, WINBC made the decision to host this event annually as the signature WINBC event "WIN-SIP" (Wireless Innovation Network-Strategic Investment and Partnering) event.
Join us for a panel presentation, reception, and dinner with the visiting SPIFers, successful applicants and your local wireless community on January 25th, 2007.

Last year's participant's feedback:
"The SPIF event was tremendous. This is exactly the sort of exposure that wireless startups need from the carriers and their contacts." (Allan Larmour, Mobidia Inc.)
"I thought the event was very worthwhile and gave us an opportunity to meet a great number of key contacts without flying around the world. We would appreciate the same opportunity again if it arose. We are a year later and made real progress. It may even be more fruitful now, one year on." (Andrew Gregory, Exponentia)
