The application process is now closed. More than 20 companies have been invited to showcase their most innovative applications or services (see list below) at BC Demo Day II on October 22, 2009. Join us as we take a look at what the most creative and innovative companies are doing right here in BC.
Join over 130+ attendees including wireless and new media executives, executives from VCs, Western Diversification Canada, BC Government, Tourism Vancouver, Vancity, Retail BC, Telefilm Canada, UBC, SFU, BCIT, our sponsors and partners, and others.
The 2010 Showcase and Service initiative is by far the most ambitious product innovation through collaboration project ever conceived to promote the BC wireless and digital media industry to the world.

- Ability to deliver a memorable interactive experience
- Company or organization must be incorporated in BC or Canada.
- Ability to commit between 40 and 200 hours of development/customization/integration over the life of the project.
- Willingness and commitment to work in a collaborative fashion

What is the timeline?
- May-October 2009: Collaborative process; product and Service development
- June 2009: Showcase opens
- October 2009: Implementation and testing of Service
- December 2009: Official launch of Service
- January-February 2010: Service goes live
Selection Criteria
Participating companies, individuals must have:
- An existing application that can be combined or integrated to create a converged and comprehensive user experience with very little customization and re-formatting.
- Company or organization must be incorporated in BC or Canada.
- Ability to commit between 40 and 200 hours of development/customization/integration over the life of the project.
- Willingness and commitment to work in a collaborative fashion.
- Project financing capability of up to $5,000/company if required.
